ACH Schedule for Thanksgiving Day

In observance of the Thanksgiving Day federal holiday, we will be closed Thursday, November 23. Business Online Banking ACH files must be received by Tuesday, November 21, in order to settle before the upcoming holiday. ACH files received on Wednesday, November 22, will not settle until Friday, November 24.

Is an EMV chip credit card the same as contactless payment?

Answer:

No. Contactless cards employ near-field communication technology (NFC), which has a radio antenna that transmits account information, and work by waving or tapping your card in front of a device. Chip cards must be inserted face-up into a chip-enabled merchant terminal that allows the chip to make contact with the reader to authorize and complete a transaction.
